Limits and Self Belief

Hello beautiful people!

Today I am really acknowledging myself for pushing through a lot of crap about how capable I am (or not). Particularly in my business, and also in my day-to-day life.

I was buying into some old patterns and stories about
Not having this skill or that knowledge
Why would anyone want to hear what I have to say
It’s all too hard
I’m not good enough
Other people can do it but I can’t
and never getting it right
and all that other… blugh… just vomit coming from myself into my own mind – even spilling out of my mouth to others.

All old stuff from my old map of the world.

I had a great opportunity to purge it all out to an amazing mentor, who listened to it all, and then asked how I was going to use this to make things better. And guess what? I realised that I’m not the only person who feels like this! So many people do.

So I pushed through it, and I achieved what I thought to be impossible. I am so proud of myself for that!

Because people need to hear that they’re not alone in this experience!
Because people need to see that there is another way, and that it IS POSSIBLE to move through these perceived limits and walls!
Because people need to feel the success and the HOPE that THEY can and WILL experience the same feelings if they keep going through that crap!
Because people need to know that there is another story they can tell themselves instead of the old one!

It is so important to acknowledge ourselves for the amazing things that we do.

So often we are really quick to judge and compare what we are not doing, or where we did not achieve what we want. The problem with doing that, is that our self-belief goes down and we start to view our limits as being… well limits – instead of what they are, which is a self-imposed idea of what we can and can’t do, based on past experience and other dogma. A choice!

Nothing more and nothing less. When we start to acknowledge where we are growing and learning and kicking goals, our concept of what we are able to do can grow. We can grow. Then we get to shine a light for other people who are forging a similar path…
